I have discovered a wonderful company that make the most beautiful gifts and jewellery. The brooch Brett bought me for my birthday (in the picture below) is absolutely lovely, and came nestled in a gorgeous box with a little matching pin badge.

Promo Rabbits

I am working hard to send out a batch of promotion at the moment; the above rabbits are a couple of characters created specially for the mail-outs!

PSS: Bridal Button Bouquet

 

My cousin Kate had the lovely idea of having a wedding bouquet made of buttons and luckily I had a little spare time in the week leading up to the big day - the above is the result of  hours sitting watching Gilmore Girls whilst threading buttons and beads onto wire! 

And funnily enough people's disbelief at the idea of a button bouquet only made us more determined!

Red Riding Hood

Above is my first attempt at Children's Book illustration... I am working on building up my portfolio and thought it was about time I tackled a full page spread. 

Let me know what you think!? I'm hoping to do a series of scenes from fairytales in the future... I think The Little Mermaid might be next!

The Bean Fairies

I couldn't resist posting this photo... While we were away over the last week our lovely neighbour came and planted some beans from his allotment in our garden! Admittedly the empty square of vegetable patch did look rather expectant...

Now I have a great argument for when the next person whinges that London neighbours aren't friendly!

PSS: K&A's wedding cupcakes...

The image on the left is an illustration I did based on the 6 cupcake designs that my cousin Kate and I developed for her and Ant's wedding. Obviously giving the cake designs individual names isn't strictly necessary, but we couldn't resist! 

Back from Lyme Regis...

I'm back and rather tanned from the surprisingly tropical Lyme Regis! The wedding was wonderful, followed by a week of cider, monkeys and self-drive boats!

Will be posting pictures of the work I did on the wedding cupcakes and bouquet soon... 

And of course, one more thing - CONGRATULATIONS KATE AND ANT!
